December Newsletter

FUN, FITNESS, & FRIENDSHIP
We are always enrolling for our school year classes and look forward to having your child join us at one of our 6 Olympia locations, Ninja City, My Gym, or Team Central Gymnastics.  Now's a great time to put gymnastics into your child's schedule.  It's a perfect way to build a well-rounded child, balancing academics, physical fitness, and social skills.
Visit our website for more information.

BENEFITS OF GYMNASTICS
Regular physical activity for growing children provides the opportunity to develop fundamental movement skills, helps establish connections between parts of the brain, improves concentration and thinking skills, provides opportunities to develop social skills and make friends, reduces feelings of depression, stress, and anxiety and it improves sleep.

For more information on our various classes and programs offered at Olympia Gymnastics, please visit our website at www.olympiagymnastics.org

HOLIDAY GYMS CLOSING DATES
All classes end December 22nd and resume January 2nd.  Please check with your location for any make up dates or team practice cancellations.  Have a happy holiday and new year.

INCLEMENT WEATHER CANCELLATIONS
It is that time of year when winter weather may play a role in our daily operations.  Please remember that if the area schools are cancelled due to hazardous road conditions, our daytime classes will be cancelled.  If our evening classes need to be cancelled because of hazardous road conditions, we will make a decision between 2:00 & 3:00p.  We will make every effort to notify you if classes are cancelled through our Facebook pages, Marketvolt emails, or phone calls.  You can also check local new channels for closings and our website.

If classes are cancelled, then we will make arrangements for a make up class to be scheduled at a later date.

WHEN YOUR CHILD IS SICK...

Cold and Flu season is upon us.  Please be considerate of all our students and families by keeping sick children at home.  It may only be a cold or flu virus to you, but to a medically fragile child or someone with special medical needs, it could mean asthma treatments or an extended hospital visit.  Please know we do our best to help keep your gymnasts healthy.  Our equipment and mats are cleaned and sanitized on a regular basis.
