Be a part of the Summer Olympic fever with this original Rio Leo from Garland.  We are currently taking orders now through Wednesday June 1st for this summer Rio Leotard.  The leotard is only $39.90 plus tax.  Get an order form through your gyms office.  Sizes available are Child XS- Adult Large.  

Remember to order it by June 1st to get it in time for the summer Olympics.

Spirit Elite Summer Clinics

Spirit Elite is hosting multiple cheer and tumbling clinics this summer at various locations around the St. Louis & St. Charles area.  The athletes will work on tumbling, jumps, and stunting skills up to Level 2 All Star skills.  

All Spirit Elite clinics are $10.00 an athlete please call to pre-register, walk ins are welcome.  If you have any questions, please feel free to email CJ Erskine at cj@spiritelite.net

USA Gymnastics Ninja Challenge at Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis

The same weekend as the P&G Women's Gymnastics Championships, USA Gymnastics does a large training session for coaches all over the region. 

USA Gymnastics will be holding a Ninja Challenge on June 24-26, 2016. We are one of a handful of gym clubs in the region to be able to invite a limited number of athletes. 

We are inquiring within our Ninja students and USAG Member Gymnasts who are interested and available to contact your ninja director at your gym or dean@olympiadgymnastics.org. We will be choosing individuals in a lottery fashion. Make sure to let Dean know that you are interested no later than this Friday May 27th. 

PRE-TRAINING: We will have a training clinic to get kids ready for the challenge. This OCR Ninja Clinic on June 18 at Team Central Gymnastic Academy to qualify for the event. We will be selecting the top 16 students to move on to the event at Chaifetz Arena. Clinic cost is $15. 

COST: $25 Gymnasts who are already USAG members will only have to pay $5 to get a t-shirt. Ninja students or boy's gymnasts will also have to pay $20 USAG annual membership fee. 

AWARDS: Competitors will compete June 24 or 25. Top 10 in each age group (ages 6-7, 8-9, 10-11 year olds)  will advance to the final competition day on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at 5:30 pm. 

Ninja's Are Invading Olympiad

Ninja's have invaded Olympiad and Team Central.  Our Ninja program started in August 2015 for kids ages 4 - teen.  The purpose was to provide an outstanding opportunity for children to engage in a "Good for Kids" experience. With over 240 kids in the program, we are growing, learning, and having fun!

Our Ninja Program is available to boys and girls, ages 4-19 years, regardless of past experiences. Classes help to build coordination, self-confidence, and strength; particularly upper body strength. Our Ninja program develops physical fitness while enriching self-worth as the students learn new skills in a fun and safe environment.  Ninja training is a combination of gymnastics, obstacle course training, physical fitness, and martial arts kicks. The

Ninja Summer Camps
Our Ninja Summer Camps run several weeks throughout the summer. Your Ninja's will work on ninja skills, obstacle courses, strength challenges, fun games, and more! Sign up for Ninja summer camp and qualify for the Ninja Challenge & Obstacle Course Run that will be held August 13 & 14th.

Ninja Challenge & Obstacle Course Run - August 13 & 14
Enroll is a 2016 Ninja weekly class with a current annual membership OR enrolled for five days of 2016 Ninja Summer Camp. This event is for ages 6-18 years old by August 12. Event will include Obstacle Course Runs, Balance and Endurance Challenges. Awards will be grouped by age ranges. The event is August 13 & 14 and sign ups start June 1 - July 20. Competition timelines will be released by August 6th. Cost for the competition is $50.00

Ninja Fun Run Event
Not interested in competing, but want to be part of the fun? We are offering a separate Ninja Fun Run to give kids the opportunity to run the obstacle course without competing. This is open to the public with no qualifiers except you must be within 4-18 years old and the cost is $39.00. No awards will be given for this event.
This event will be hosted by Team Central Gymnastic Academy in Maryland Heights and run by Gateway Gymnastics of America. VooDoo Slacklines is a proud sponsor. All Ninja instructors are certified to train in Ninja and are Safety 1 certified.

2016 Road to Rio Spring Performance

During the month of May, our gyms are transformed to reflect this year's theme of "Road to Rio". This event is a fan favorite and allows the gymnasts, tumblers, and ninja's to show off their skills they have been working so hard on over the past few months.

This year's theme was Road to Rio to celebrate the upcoming 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janerio, Brazil. Each spring student receives “TOP” scores as they perform their skills before a crowd of raving fans. Children shine, family and friends beam and coaches are filled with pride. The annual spring performance is a super confidence building event packed with fun. Our staff look forward to it every year.

Take Flight Family Event Hosted by Olympiad Chesterfield

On Saturday May 14th, Olympiad Chesterfield hosted it's first Take Flight Family Event to coincide with the Chesterfield Spirit of St. Louis airshow the weekend of May 14 & 15th. 

The children enjoyed open gym time, carnival games, food and drinks, a bounce house, games, crafts and tons of FUN. While the kids stayed busy with all the fun, the parents got to enjoy the airshow.  The highlight of the airshow and a fan favorite was the U.S. Navy Blue Angels.  

Olympiad Chesterfield was host to about 38 families to enjoy the fun and watch the airshow from the comforts of Olympiad Chesterfield's parking lot.  Chesterfield is hoping to host again next year, so keep your eyes peeled for information. Wonderful Character Lesson for all the Children

I have been attending the Stan Musial Awards for several years.  It illustrates heart warming examples of life lessons that I believe you and your children will benefit from watching.
The Stan Musial Awards were held on December 5th at the Peabody Opera House.  There was an encore presentation broadcast of the show on Christmas day at noon on KSDK Channel 5.
